The Short Sport Checklist
For a Warm, Dry, Comfortable Day of Skiing or Snowboarding

Helmet Most accidents involving kids are caused by other skiers not paying attention or being reckless. A helmet is a great idea for everyone. Accidents happen. We carry Briko and Boeri helmets for anyone.

The Right Socks Prevent blisters and keep feet warm with synthetic ski socks by Ridgeview, or Thorlo or a wool blend sock by Wigwam. We carry socks and liners for shoe sizes toddler 6 to women's size 9.

Long Underwear Your first layer is important. It needs to wick sweat from the skin and not irritate. We carry long underwear in three weights; lightweight silk by Thermasilk, midweight long underwear by Duofold or Hot Chillys and fleece long underwear by Turtlefur, Hot Chillys, or Obermeyer.

Turtleneck We have turtlenecks to match any outfit. Any color, any size, we even have some that say Aspen on them.

Fleece or A Sweater An extra layer of insulation that serves as both fashion and function.

Neck Gaitor A fleece neck gaitor provides a great service to your neck. A must have for cold days.

Eye Protection The sun is harsh at 8000+ feet. It bounces off the snow and glares from every direction. Protect your eyes with goggles by Briko, Bolle, Smith, or Carrera. Our goggles and sunglasses all provide 100% UV protection.

Hat 70% of your body heat escapes through your head. Cover that chimney and retain your heat.

Gloves or Mittens We have an extensive collection of gloves and mittens for kids from 2 years old to a small adult. Reusch, Obermeyer, Grandoe, Stick-it, Gordini, and Columbia. We carry snowboarding gloves and mittens in kids sizes! The glove search is finally over!

Sunblock and Lipbalm Believe it or not, sunburn is the #1 skier injury. Always protect your skin and lips from the strong sun.

Waterproof/Windproof Outerwear We carry a wide variety of SKIWEAR, coats and pants. To stay warm and dry it's important to LAYER properly, the last layer being windproof. Whether it's a shell, an insulated parka or a full skisuit, keeping the wind out will keep you warm.
